"Believe In Yourself" Clinics

On June 1st, 2nd and 4th I and the Saint Mary Drumline are presenting our 2015 clinic “Believe In Yourself”. In the three days we will be visiting six local elementary schools and teaching the students about the drumline activity give them a positive message and tell them about three new programs that are starting in September.

Drumline is growing very fast in Ontario, but for a large part most people are not quite sure of what it is and the benefits that people involved as performs, volunteers or sponsors receive.

Every year the Saint Mary Drumline goes to visit their feeder schools the like to bring a positive message and tell the students first hand personal experiences of them believing in themselves.

With the support of the Catholic School Board, Saint Mary, Impact Percussion and their corporate sponsors there will be three new programs that are starting in September. There are two drumline programs, one for students in grade 3, 4 and 5 and one for students in grade6, 7, and 8. There is also a concert percussion programs starting at St. Augustine in Dundas.

The audiences have been great and there has been lots of positive feed back.
